Legal / Cookies and storage

Small, explicit, and purpose-limited.

The public Travistello site avoids advertising cookies. Optional product analytics run only after an explicit choice, while essential administration and preference storage remain separate from public editorial browsing.

What is used now

  • The private CMS administration area may use essential authentication cookies for signed-in editors.
  • The compare feature stores selected product identifiers in browser local storage so the selection can persist between pages.
  • Hosting and security providers may process standard request data needed to deliver and protect the service.
02

Optional analytics

Travistello offers a clear allow or decline choice before loading PostHog product analytics. If allowed, it records page views and named interactions such as comparison selections, content-to-product openings, and merchant-link clicks. Automatic click capture, session replay, advertising profiles, and person profiles are disabled.

The analytics choice and the anonymous analytics identifier are stored in local storage rather than an analytics cookie. Silence and continued browsing are not treated as consent.

03

Performance and search measurement

  • Vercel Speed Insights may measure page loading performance. It reports anonymous timing measurements, sets no cookie, stores nothing in your browser, and builds no profile of you.
  • Google Search Console verification adds a static meta tag to the page source. It stores nothing in your browser and observes no browsing.
  • Neither is used for advertising, and neither identifies you.
04

Your controls

The Privacy choices control in the footer reopens the analytics choice at any time. Declining stops optional capture. You can clear Travistello compare selections through the interface or browser storage controls. Browser settings can also remove cookies and local storage. Disabling essential CMS cookies affects only authorized editorial administration.
