Trust / Affiliate disclosure

Commercial context should never be hidden.

Travistello may earn a commission when a reader follows a clearly disclosed merchant link and completes an eligible purchase. Commercial relationships do not change the price a reader pays, and they never change a score, ranking weight, specification, limitation, or verdict.

01

Current commercial status

Travistello does not currently publish active affiliate links for the research products in the launch catalog. Candidate merchant offers remain paused until the relevant program approves the site and a tracked destination has been verified.

A direct manufacturer link may be shown without an affiliate relationship. The disclosure beside the action identifies the status at the time of the recorded check.

02

How disclosure appears

  • Affiliate status is stated beside or immediately around the commercial action.
  • Observed prices include a check date and are not promises of future price or stock.
  • Sponsored placements, supplied products, or paid collaborations must be labelled separately from ordinary affiliate links.
  • A merchant cannot purchase a higher Travistello score or a Travistello Pick designation.
03

Why offers are separate records

Products, variants, specifications, scorecards, merchants, and offers are stored separately. This lets an offer change or expire without rewriting the product record or editorial conclusion.

Travistello may compare merchants that pay different commission rates, or include a merchant that pays no commission, when that produces a clearer decision for the reader.
