Exact variants only
Dimensions, weight, capacity, colour, price, and photography must belong to the named variant. We do not combine convenient facts from different sizes in the same product family.
Trust / Methodology
Travistello is decision software with an editorial voice. We show where facts came from, what we have not tested, how scores are built, and when commercial relationships exist.
Dimensions, weight, capacity, colour, price, and photography must belong to the named variant. We do not combine convenient facts from different sizes in the same product family.
A research-based assessment verifies documentary evidence. It does not claim wheel feel, impact resistance, comfort, or long-term wear. Those claims require hands-on work.
An offer can earn commission, but merchant status never changes a specification, score, ranking weight, limitation, or verdict. Travistello never ranks a product because its affiliate program pays more, and a merchant cannot buy a higher score or a Travistello Pick. Commission rates are not an input to any score model.
Source hierarchy
Carry-on score model / Version 1.0
Each dimension is scored out of ten and multiplied by its published weight. Rationales and limitations remain attached to the product.
Weight, cabin footprint, wheels, and movement-related design.
Documented construction, protection, warranty, and service.
Published volume and flexibility relative to the footprint.
The time-stamped price against features and ownership proposition.
Dividers, restraint, pockets, and packing convenience.
Affiliate architecture
Product facts, scorecards, editorial relationships, merchants, and offers are separate records. Outbound clicks use a public token, log an attribution event, and redirect to the current merchant URL. This keeps commercial changes out of product URLs and research data.
Prices are displayed as observed snapshots with a check time. Availability can change after publication. Affiliate disclosures appear beside the action, not buried in a generic policy.
Corrections
Product pages expose their evidence sources and access dates. If a manufacturer changes a specification, we update the normalized record, retain the verification context, and recalculate affected scores.
